Will there be a hard copy “color” format of this book?
Thanks for asking, but no there won’t be a color printed version. I talked to the publisher and the cost would be between $75 and $100 per book, and the printer requires a miminum committment of 1000 books which is the high end of the cost range. I don’t think that many colore copies would sell, so it’s just not economically feasible. Some people are purchasing both the print and ePub versions, and other people are signing on to their FamilyTreeDNA account to follow along. There’s often a link to a resource in the footnotes too where I’ve published something in color.
